MUMBAI: The Port of Antwerp along with senior Belgian Government authorities will be visiting Hyderabad in August to interact with local businesses.
A seminar will be organized on the 10th of August at Hyderabad’s Park Hyatt hotel to present the Port as a preferred gateway for exporters and forwarders to Europe.
Mr. Luc Arnouts - International Networking Director of Antwerp Port Authority will outline the benefits of the Port as a leading break bulk port and a preferred gateway for distribution with in Europe. Ms. Babette Desfossez - Customs Attaché of Belgium will share insights about Customs procedures at Antwerp Port.
The Antwerp delegation will be led by H.E. Jan Luykx - Belgium Ambassador to India. Businesses engaged in export and import of cargo in infrastructure projects, steel, public transport and pharmaceuticals will benefit from the session.
A separate session will be organized for the pharmaceutical industry in partnership with Pharmexcil on the 11th of August at Park Hyatt Hotel, Hyderabad.
The session will highlight the Port’s strengths in handling pharmaceutical goods and Good Manufacturing Practice investments made by logistics service providers in Antwerp, enabling the port to provide value added services to the World's top 10 pharmaceutical companies.
