Kolkata Port Announces Revision of Local Haulage Charges

KOLKATA: In terms of Railway Board’s Circular No.TCR/1055/95/1 (Rates Circular No. 07 of 2017) dated 08.03.2017, the revised rate of Local Haulage Charge payable to Kolkata Port Trust (Kolkata Dock System) shall be Rs. 2870/- per 8-wheeler wagon. This rate shall be applicable with effect from 01.04.2017, says a release on 9 March ’17.

The Haulage Charge for 4-wheeler wagon shall be 0.40 times of 8-wheeler wagons and will be rounded off to the next higher multiple of Rupees five.
