
On Wednesday, US and Indonesian businesses inked investment and trade agreements worth over $7 billion.
The agreements, which were signed during a US Chamber of Commerce dinner for Prabowo, include Indonesian companies buying one million metric tons of US soybeans.
A US-ASEAN Business Council (USABC) fact sheet states that 93,000 tons of cotton and 1.6 million tons of corn were produced over unknown time periods.
Additionally, it stated that Indonesia plans to purchase one million tons of wheat this year and as much as five million tons by 2030.
Indonesia has purchased $685 million worth of soybeans, $1.25 billion worth of wheat, $122 million worth of cotton, and $200 million worth of US-sourced shredded used clothing for recycling, according to USABC's valuation.
