Exporters can apply in online module for SEIS after September 1: DGFT

The Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT) has said that E-comm module for applying for Service Export from India Scheme (SEIS) based on the new ANF 30B would be available from September 11, 2018.

SEIS aims to promote export of services from India by providing duty scrip credit for eligible exports.

Under the scheme, the Government provides incentives in the range of 3% to 5% to all Service providers who are providing services from India to organizations outside India.

The scheme was introduced in 2015 for a period of 5 years.

DGFT said the new E-comm module based on new ANF 30B will be available from 01.09.2018 because the back-end software and its architecture is being re-designed as per the new format of ANF 3B.

DGFT has thus asked the exporters and members of trade to apply in the online module for SEIS only after September 1, 2018.
