Export of Oilmeals up by 95% April - October 2017

NEW DELHI: The Solvent Extractors' Association of India has compiled the export data for export of oilmeals for the month of October 2017. The export during October 2017 is provisionally reported at

73,863 tonnes compared to 103,640 tonnes in October 2016 i.e. down by 29%. The overall export of oilmeals during April - October 2017 provisionally reported at 1,358,651 tonnes compared to 698,169 tonnes during the same period of last year i.e. up by 95%.

Port-wise Export : April - October 2017

The export from Deendayal Port is reported at 694,336 tonnes (51%), followed by Mumbai including JNPT handled 205,674 tonnes (15%), Mundra handled 132,063 tonnes (10%) and Kolkata handled 194,758 tonnes (14%).
