Bangladesh to export surplus rice to India: FM

Dhaka : After Sri Lanka, Bangladesh now wants to export rice to neighbouring India from its bulging stock. “We are going to export rice to India, too. We have some surplus rice and more new rice stock is being added to,” Foreign Minister AH Mahmood Ali said. He, however, did not mention the quantity of rice to be exported to India.

“The rice will be exported to Tripura as they need rice right now. discussions are on about it.” The Foreign Minister said exporting rice to Sri Lanka is a big success.
