Notification No. 4 /2005-Central Excise (N.T.)
In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) and sub-section (2) of section 4A of the Central Excise Act, 1944 (1 of 1944), the Central Government, being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby makes the following amendments in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue) No. 2/2005-Central Excise (N.T.), dated the 7th January, 2005 which was published in the Gazette of India Extraordinary, vide number G.S.R.10(E), dated the 7th January, 2005, namely:-
In the said notification, in the Table,-
(i) against S.No.1, for the entry in column (4), the entry “40%” shall be substituted; and
(ii) against S.No.2, for the entry in column (4), the entry “40%” shall be substituted.
