Government will increase the tariff on X-ray machine imports to 15%.

With effect from April 1, the government has increased the customs charge on X-ray machines and non-portable X-ray generators to 15%. Presently, import duty on portable X-ray machines and non-portable X-ray generators and apparatus is 10%.
