(E).- In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 93 of the Finance Act, 1994 (32 of 1994) (hereinafter referred to as the said Act) and in supersession of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue) notification No.41/2007- Service Tax, dated the 6th October, 2007, published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, vide number G.S.R. 645(E), dated the 6th October, 2007, except as respects things done or omitted to be done before such supersession, the Central Government, on being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby exempts the taxable services specified in column (3) of the Table below (hereinafter referred to as specified services) received by an exporter of goods (hereinafter referred to as the exporter) and used for export of goods (hereinafter referred to as said goods) pertaining to sub-clauses of clause(105) of section 65 of the said Act specified in the corresponding entry in column(2) of the said Table, from the whole of the service tax leviable thereon under section 66 and section 66A of the said Act, subject to the conditions specified in the corresponding entry in column (4) of the said Table:
