Learn new customs rules on import, export of goods
The Center for Global Best Practices will hold a one-day training titled, New Customs and Trade Rules of the Philippines on June 7 at the EDSA Shangri-La Hotel, Mandaluyong City.
The implementing rules and regulations (IRR) of the Customs Modernization and Tariff Act (CMTA) have recently been released by the Bureau of Customs through various Customs Administrative Orders (CAOs) and Customs Memorandum Orders (CMOs) to clearly spell out the many changes that will impact on your trade transactions.
Attendees of the training will learn compliance best practices and everything they need to know on the changes in the Tariff and Customs Code of the Philippines that will impact on their trade transactions.
The seminar will also include recent Department of Finance issuances as well as relevant foreign and local jurisprudence on matters involving imported goods. Managing your customs compliance obligations responsibly and proactively can make a critical difference in the success of your business.
