NAVI MUMBAI: A Delegation from
Atlanta, led by the Hartsfield Jackson Atlanta International Airport, the
world’s busiest airport (in terms of passengers handled every year) visited
JNPT here to know the port operations. The delegation was hosted by Dr C.
Unnikrishnan Nair, CMT (Chief Manager Traffic) and other senior officials of
JNPT.
The officials showcased the delegation about the various capacity
addition projects undertaken by JNPT along with the connectivity projects. The
delegation was also updated about the Ease of Doing Business initiatives that
have been implemented at the port in recent years to facilitate the growth of
Export-Import trade.
The delegation that visited JNPT included Mr. Ellioitt Paige, Director,
Air Service Department, Hartsfield Jackson Atlanta International Airport and
Ms. T J Jackson, Manager, Georgia Department of Economic Development.
