Snapshot of the global export markets for grains, oilseeds and edible oils as reported by government and private sources as of the end of business on Thursday:

SOYBEAN SALE: Pakistani importers have in recent days purchased about 60,000 tonnes of soybeans expected to be sourced optionally from the United States or Brazil. The soybeans are for shipment from Nov. 20 to Dec. 20, 2017.

CORN SALE: The Korea Feed Association purchased about 65,000 tonnes of yellow corn to be sourced from optional origins. The corn was purchased at around $183.50 a tonne c&f plus a $1.00 a tonne surcharge for additional port unloading. It was for arrival around Oct. 5 and was bought from trading house ADM.

CORN SALE: South Korea's Korea Corn Processing Industry Association purchased about 60,000 tonnes of corn to be sourced from optional origins in a tender. The corn was purchased at about $185.50 a tonne c&f including surcharge for additional port unloading.

WHEAT SALE: Japan's Ministry of Agriculture bought a total of 162,286 tonnes of food-quality wheat from the United States, Canada and Australia in a regular tender.

BARLEY TENDER UPDATE: Jordan's state grain buyer made no purchase in an international tender for 100,000 tonnes of feed barley. A new tender is expected.

PENDING TENDERS:

SOYOIL TENDER: Iran's state purchasing agency GTC issued an international tender to purchase up to 30,000 tonnes of soyoil, European traders said. Tender deadline for the crude, degummed soyoil is July 10. (Compiled by Mark Weinraub in Chicago)
