Chennai Port extends concession on vessel-related charges for six months

CHENNAI : Chennai Port has informed that as per the requests of the trade and as a trade promotion measure, concession of 15% on Vessel Related Charges (VRC) is offered for a period of six months from 01.01.2016 to 30.06.2016 for all Container Vessels calling at Chennai Port which will be reviewed after three months from implementation.

The concession scheme supersedes the concession scheme on Vessel Related charges for Mainline container vessels with effect from 01.01.2016. The trade associations are requested to bring the contents of the Trade Notice to the attention of their members, the trade and everyone concerned.
