AHMEDABAD: Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone Ltd (APSEZ), India’s largest port developer organized a grand event in Delhi, themed “Partners in Progress”, to felicitate key stakeholders for their stellar contributions to the impressive growth of Mundra Port. The event was well attended, with around 200 attendees and dignitaries representing the Shipping, Manufacturing, Trading and Export-Import community from the Delhi NCR region, gracing the occasion with their presence.
Mr. Ennarasu Karunesan – CEO, Mundra and Tuna Port, APSEZ, flagged off proceedings by welcoming the distinguished invitees and thanking them for their role in the sustained growth of Mundra Port.
An Adani spokesperson shared notable milestones achieved by Mundra Port in its spectacular journey to becoming the largest private container port in India; and highlighted the state of the art infrastructure and connectivity to the North India hinterland that Mundra Port offers to exporters and importers, further elucidating how this has provided an optimal and closer gateway on the West Coast of India, positively impacting trade and supply chains.
The panel comprised of luminaries like Capt. Ajay Kaura – President NISSA, Mr. Kamlesh Gupta – President, ACTO, Mr. Sachin Bhanushali – Gateway Rail, Ms. Poroma Rebello - APL, Mr. Manoj Myra - Sony India and Mr. Ennarasu Karunesan - CEO, Mundra Port, whose collective knowledge and experience was shared with the audience.
A panel discussion was hosted by Mr. Shahzad Athar, GM – Container Sales, on “How to increase container movement by Rail from Northern ICDs into Mundra Port”, which was followed by Awards ceremony to felicitate key Stakeholders from various categories.
The event concluded with Mr. Houssam Haddad, Head – Operations, Mundra, thanking all Guests for their steadfast support and soliciting co-operation in the future as well.
