First Rake Movement by Adani Logistics Ltd from ICD Patli to Hazira Port

HAZIRA : Adani Hazira Port received its first rake of Adani Logistics Ltd carrying containers of OOCL from ICD Patli on 31st December 2015.

“Through this Export Import Trade in North India has got an alternative Rail gateway which will provide them faster turnaround of trains along with world class infrastructure at Hazira Port. Hazira is around 320 KMS shorter in distance from Patli in comparison to Nhava Sheva. We thank OOCL for supporting us in this initiative “said Mr. Gaurav Shukla, DGM, Marketing North India, Adani Ports.

Mr. Bimal Singh Negi, Branch Manager, North India OOCL who supported with their containers said that “We are Happy with the new development of rail connectivity to Hazira Port which will give us flexibility in terms of planning our movements and will reduce our lead time along with providing certainty of connecting our container on time. We look forward to use Hazira Port more frequently now”
