Benefits available to merchandise exports should also be extended to Services Sector

MUMBAI : Mr Rafeeque Ahmed, President, Federation of Indian Export Organisations (FIEO) while complimenting the Department of Commerce for this initiative said that discrimination with Services Exports should be stopped and the benefits available to merchandise exports mutatis mutandis should be extended to Services Sector to import competitiveness to the sector.

President, FIEO also highlighted the need for domestic reform in Services besides liberalizing FDI. Mr Ahmed also stressed the need of mutual recognition of accreditation with trading partners so as to gain maximum mileage in professional services.
