Notification No. 23/2015 – Customs

New Delhi, the 1^st April, 2015.

G.S.R. 259 (E) - In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 25 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Government, being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby makes the following further amendments in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue), No. 104/2009-Customs, dated the 14th September, 2009 published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II, Section 3, Sub-section (i), vide number G.S.R. 674 (E), dated the 14th September, 2009, namely:-

            In the said notification, in the opening paragraph, for condition (2), the following condition shall be substituted, namely:-

"(2) that the said scrip has not been issued in violation of the condition contained in the sub-paragraph (5) of paragraph 2 of notification No.101 of 2009 – Customs, dated the 11th September, 2009 or sub-paragraph (4) of paragraph 2 of notification No.102 of 2009 – Customs, dated the 11th September, 2009 or the second proviso to sub-paragraph (1) of paragraph 2 of notification No. 05 of 2013 – Customs, dated the 18th February, 2013 or sub-paragraph (3) of paragraph 2 of notification No. 22 of 2013 – Customs, dated the 18th April, 2013 or first proviso to sub-paragraph (1) of paragraph 2 of notification No. 23 of 2013-Customs, dated the 18th April, 2013 or sub-paragraph (3) of paragraph 2 of notification No.16 of 2015 – Customs, dated the 1^st April, 2015 or first proviso to sub-paragraph (1) of paragraph 2 of notification No. 17 of 2015 - Customs, dated the 1^st  April, 2015, as the case may be;".
