Notification No. 01 /2005-Customs (N.T.)   
 

         In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (a) of section 7 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Board of Excise and Customs hereby makes the following further amendment in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance, (Department of Revenue), No. 61/94-Customs (N.T.), dated the 21st November, 1994, namely: -   
 

In the said notification, in the Table, against serial number 11 relating to the State of  Maharashtra, against item (b) occurring in column (3) relating to Pune, in column (4), for the entries, the following entries shall be substituted, namely:-  
 

 (1)     (2)     (3)        (4) _________________________     
 

“(a) Unloading of   

(i) Engineering goods; 
(ii) Automobile parts; 
(iii) Rubber products; 
(iv) Chemical products; 
(v) Computer (Hardware and Software) Electronic goods; 
(vi) Yarn and Garments; (vii) Plastic goods; 
(viii) Polymers; 
(ix) Leather goods; 
(x) Packing material; 
(xi) Books, Literature and Stationery; 
(xii) Consumables raw material; 
(xiii) Perishable Industrial Inputs;                   
 


 (1)     (2)     (3)       (4) _________________________    

(b) Loading of -

(i) Perishable agricultural produce viz; flowers, fruits and vegetables; 
(ii) Dairy products and processed food; 
(iii) Vaccines; 
(iv) Electronic goods including Hardware and Software; 
(v) Engineering goods such as forgings; tubes and other engineering goods; 
(vi) Automobile parts; 
(vii) Yarn and garments; 
(viii) Plastic goods such as tapes, wires and ropes; (ix) Hatching eggs.”.

Note: The principal notification No. 61/94-Customs (NT), dated the 21st November, 1994  was published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary Part II, Section 3, Sub-Section (ii) vide S.O.828 (E), dated the 21st November, 1994 and lastly amended by notification No. 92/2004-Customs (NT), dated the 28th  July, 2004.
