Notification No. 107/2004 - Customs ( N.T) 

            In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 4  of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962) read with  section 24  of  the  General Clauses Act, 1897 (10 of 1897), the following amendments in the  notifications specified in column (2) of the Table  below are  made by the  Board , as specified in the corresponding entry in column (3) of  the said  Table , namely :-

47/99-Customs(N.T), dated the 17thAugust,1999     [G.S.R 593 (E),dated the 17th August,1999 ]

In the said  notification, for  the words and  brackets, “the  Central Government hereby appoints the Commissioner  of  Central Excise (Adjudication), New  Delhi ”, the following  shall be  substituted, namely:-

   “ the  Board hereby appoints Shri H.K.Mittal, Commissioner of Central Excise (Adjudication), Delhi”.

2/2004-Customs  (N.T), dated  the 2nd  January, 2004 [ G.S.R 5(E),dated the 2nd  January, 2004 ]

In the said  notification, for  the words  “ the Commissioner  of  Customs , Inland  Container Depot, Tughlakabad, New  Delhi” , the following  shall be  substituted, namely:-

   “Shri H.K.Mittal , Commissioner of Central Excise (Adjudication), Delhi”.

38/2004-Customs (N.T), dated  the 25thMarch, 2004[G.S.R 213 (E), dated the 25th March, 2004  ]

In the said  notification, for the words and brackets “ the Commissioner  of  Customs , Inland  Container Depot, Tughlakabad, New  Delhi , to act as Commissioner of Customs (Port), Kolkata ”, the following  shall be  substituted, namely:-

   “Shri H.K.Mittal , Commissioner of Central Excise (Adjudication), Delhi”.

39/2004-Customs (N.T), dated the 25thMarch, 2004 [ G.S.R 214 (E), dated the 25th March, 2004 ]

In the said  notification,  for  the portion beginning  with the words and brackets “ the Commissioner  of  Customs (Exports)” and  ending with  the words “ Tughlakabad, New  Delhi”, the following  shall be  substituted, namely:-

   “Shri H.K.Mittal, Commissioner of Central Excise (Adjudication), Delhi”.

98/2004-Customs (N.T), dated  the 26thAugust, 2004 [G.S.R 544(E), dated  the 26th August,2004 ]

In the said  notification, for  the portion beginning  with  the words and  brackets           “  the Commissioner  of  Customs (Exports) ” and  ending with the  brackets  and  words         “ ( Import and  General), New  Delhi ” , the following  shall be  substituted, namely:-

   “Shri H.K.Mittal, Commissioner of Central Excise (Adjudication), Delhi”.

In the said  notification, for  the portion beginning  with   the words and  brackets          “ the Commissioner  of  Customs (Exports) ” and  ending with  the words “ Tughlakabad, New  Delhi ” , the following  shall be  substituted, namely:-

   “Shri H.K.Mittal, Commissioner of Central Excise (Adjudication), Delhi”.

In the said  notification, for  the portion beginning  with the words and brackets                “Commissioner  of  Customs (Exports)” and  ending with  the words “Tughlakabad, New  Delhi” , the following  shall be  substituted, namely:-

   “Shri H.K.Mittal, Commissioner of Central Excise (Adjudication), Delhi”.

73/2003-Customs (N.T), dated the 10th  September,2003 [G.S.R 724 (E),dated the 10th September,2003]

In the said  notification, for  the portion beginning  with  the words “Commissioner  of  Customs , Kandla” and  ending with the  word “ Ahmedabad ” , the following  shall be  substituted, namely:-

   “Additional Director  General (Vigilance), Mumbai”.

97/2003-Customs(N.T.), dated the  7thNovember, 2003 [ G.S.R 873 (E), dated  the 7th November, 2003]

In the said  notification, for  the portion beginning  with  the words “Commissioner  of  Customs , Kandla” and  ending with the words “ Commissioner of  Customs, Ahmedabad” , the following  shall be  substituted, namely:-

   “Additional Director  General (Vigilance), Mumbai”.

51/2004-Customs (N.T) , dated the  20thApril, 2004 [ G.S.R 270 (E), dated  the 20th April, 2004 ]

In the said  notification, for  the portion beginning  with  the words , “Commissioner  of  Customs , Customs  House, Kandla” and  ending with the word “ Goa” , the following  shall be  substituted, namely:-

   “Additional Director General (Vigilance), Mumbai”.

33/2004-Customs (N.T), dated  the 17thMarch, 2004[G.S.R 197 (E), dated  the 17th March ,2004 ]

In the said  notification, for  the portion beginning  with  the words  “Commissioner  of  Customs , Bangalore” and ending with the words and brackets “Commissioner of  Customs (Air Port), Chennai ” , the following  shall be  substituted, namely:-

   “Commissioner of Central Excise (Adjudication) , Bangalore”.

4.       The   principal Notification No.39/2004-Customs (N.T), dated  the  25th March, 2004  was  published  in the  Gazette of  India, Extraordinary Part-II, Section 3, Sub-Section (i), dated  the  25th March , 2004,  vide   G.S.R 214 (E), dated  the  25th March , 2004. 

5.       The     principal Notification No.98/2004-Customs (N.T), dated  the  26th August , 2004  was  published  in the  Gazette of  India, Extraordinary Part-II, Section 3, Sub-Section (i), dated  the  26th August  , 2004,  vide   G.S.R 544(E), dated  the  26th August  , 2004. 

6.       The  principal Notification No.99/2004-Customs (N.T), dated  the  26th August , 2004  was  published  in the  Gazette of  India, Extraordinary Part-II, Section 3, Sub-Section (i), dated  the  26th August  , 2004,  vide   G.S.R 545(E), dated  the  26th August  , 2004. 

7.       The  principal Notification No.100/2004-Customs (N.T), dated  the  26th August , 2004  was  published  in the  Gazette of  India, Extraordinary Part-II, Section 3, Sub-Section (i), dated  the  26th August  , 2004,  vide  G.S.R 546(E), dated  the  26th August  , 2004. 

8.       The  principal Notification No.73/2003-Customs (N.T), dated  the  10th September, 2003  was  published  in the  Gazette of  India, Extraordinary Part-II, Section 3, Sub-Section (i), dated  the  10th September, 2003,  vide   G.S.R 724(E), dated  the  10th September, 2003. 

9.       The  principal Notification No.97/2003-Customs (N.T), dated  the  7th November, 2003  was  published  in the  Gazette of  India, Extraordinary Part-II, Section 3, Sub-Section (i), dated  the  7th November, 2003,  vide   G.S.R 873(E), dated  the  7th November, 2003. 

10.     The  principal Notification No.51/2004-Customs (N.T), dated  the  20th April, 2004  was  published  in the  Gazette of  India, Extraordinary Part-II, Section 3, Sub-Section (i), dated  the  20th April, 2004,  vide  G.S.R 270(E), dated  the  20th April, 2004. 

11.     The  principal Notification No.33/2004-Customs (N.T), dated  the 17th March, 2004  was published  in the  Gazette of  India, Extraordinary, Part-II, Section 3, Sub-section (i), dated the 17th March, 2004 , vide   G.S.R.197 (E),  dated the 17th March, 2004.
