Notification No. 144/2000, Dated 21st Nov 2000

This Notification fixes the rate of duty on edible oils, refined vegetable oils etc.

Notification No.144/2000-Customs

 

        In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 25 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Government, being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby makes the following further amendments in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue), No. 61/2000-Customs, dated the 12th May, 2000, namely:-

 

In the said notification, in the Table,-

 

(i) for S. No. 4A and the entries relating thereto, the following S. No. and entries shall be substituted, namely:-

"4A. Edible oils falling under heading Nos. 15.07, 15.08, 15.09, 15.10, 15.11, 15.12, 15.13, 15.14 or 15.15 .";

(ii) S. No. 4B and entries relating thereto shall be omitted.
